| 06/12/2008 | 7.30pm | Christmas Party | The West Yorkshire TVRCC will be having their Christmas meal at 'The Dog & Gun', Denholme Road, Oxenhope, Keighley. 30 places have been preliminary reserved for our own seating quarters. Date: Saturday 6th December Venue: The Dog & Gun, Arrive 7:30 pm. Seated For 8pm. | 01/11/2008 | 10.15am | Whitby Fish 'n' Chip/ Goth run | The run is Saturday 1st November Meet near the airport in Yeadon at Murgatroyds Fish & Chip Restaraunt Car Park at 10.15 for 10.30 set off. We will then meet up with the SY guys just before we get on the A1 from the A59 past Knaresborough. Then 20 miles up the A1 and A19 and across the A170 to Sutton Bank to meet up with the NE & Tees guys for the run over the moors to Whitby Car parking together in the Abbey car park and run down the 312 steps (Exaggeration!!!) into the centre to see the sights and Goths Fill up on Fish & Chips to help on the way back up the steps for the steady run home As the clocks go back this weekend we should be home before dark So who's up for joining the jolly run to the seaside? |

| 14/09/2008 | pre 1980's ..Extravaganza | Pre 80's Extravaganza '08 will be held at Nottingham Transport Heritage Centre, Ruddington, Notts, NG11 6NX. www.nthc.co.uk The centre caters for numerous forms of transport including Buses, Lorries, Main line diesel locomotives, Main line steam locomotives, Miniature railways and of course Cars. Although the event is aimed at Pre 80's cars we have secured a show area within the compound for post 80's and everyone is welcome. Sat & Sun 6/7th September Already a few TVR's are meeting up at Richard Lee's house and going together to Scotch Corner to join others for a Rumble thru Teeside and on to park up on the Quayside at Gateshead/Newcastle. Should be a good day out and plenty of TVR action |

As we both live opposite each other at the end of a Cul-de-sac there will be plenty of parking. It looks like I will be making a special commemorative wine. if you don't drink it you can use it as fuel. Families and children are welcome, as we will be utilising both houses There is enough space for tents if anyone wants to be so brave? | 24/08/2008 | Harewood Hill Climb | This Sunday 24th August Harewood Hillclimb is a round of the MSA speed championship so lots of nice cars but also the TVR Speed championship also so lots of different TVRs competing (and spectating I would think) Practise runs start from 9am then timed runs are after lunch. Some good spectating and well worth the day out at only £10 per person |

| 03/08/2008 | MG show Pately Bridge | Rich at North yorks has invited us to the following: Weve been invited to put on a stand at the MG show in Pateley Bridge, on Sunday 3rd August Im looking for a good gathering of cars,if possible. Ive emailed the club for the display flags and timeline kit, plus our gazebo, chairs and table will make for a decent display area. All we need now is your cars. Ill take the kit in my skoda (I know flash git!) Theres plenty to see and do and once youve polished your pride and joy you can either show people round it or leave it with the rest and go for a mooch round. The town of Pateley is full of nice shops and the showground is next to the river. All in all a rather pleasant way to spend a day. There a small charge per person of £5 to get in but I know that wont put you of as its for charity |
